Aurora Humanitarian Organization announced the victory of the Aurora Humanitarian Awakening Prize for 2022 by community mediator Hadi Jumaan, Head of the Humanity Mediators for Development.

Of the 600 participants from 60 countries around the world, the young Yemeni man won the Aurora Humanitarian Award for 2022.

Hadi Jumaan, as Aurora Humanitarian organization described, is a peace activist, mediator, and body collector from Yemen who regularly risks his life to facilitate the exchange of prisoners of war and recover human remains from the frontlines. As the country continues to experience a prolonged political and humanitarian crisis caused by the civil war, Mr. Jumaan brings to the families the only solace left to them – the knowledge that their loved and lost ones may finally rest in peace.

This award is given annually in recognition of the most prominent humanitarian individuals around the world in recognition of their humanitarian efforts.
